Orchard Pharmacy, Mansfield have an exciting opportunity for a NVQ level 2 Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. We are located inside Mansfield Community Hospital. Our pharmacy team is made up of experienced Pharmacist's, technicians and dispensers. This well established team is ready to open its arms to a new team player due to company growth.
As a Pharmacy Dispenser you will work in a well equipped Independent Community Pharmacy with an experienced supervisor and dispensary team that delivers a wide range of Pharmacy services to the local community.
We are looking for a dispenser who can join us:
- Monday: 08:00-17:00
- Tuesday: 08:00-17:00
- Wednesday: 08:00-17:00
- Thursday: 08:00-17:00
- Friday:12:00-21:00
However these hours may be flexible for the right candidate.
Your main responsibilities will be :-
* To dispense items under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
* To receive and check prescriptions.
* To give advice on "P" and "OTC" medicines and prescriptions to customers as appropriate.
* To order stock and take responsibility for stock control.
* To receive, unpack and check deliveries from suppliers.
* To ensure stock rotation and carry out date checks.
* To use the electronic prescription service.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential Skills :-
* Accredited Dispensary Assistants qualification or equivalent (e.g NPA/Buttercups).
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* The ability to multi task, work independently and well within a team autonomously in a very busy dispensary.
