Warehouse Operative (FLT Licensed)

Salary: £13 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am - 2:30pm
About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team. This is a hands-on role involving picking and packing customer orders, loading and unloading goods, and operating a forklift truck to support warehouse operations.
The successful candidate will have previous warehouse experience and hold a valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries using a forklift truck
- Moving and storing palletised goods within the warehouse
- Carrying out stock checks and inventory control duties
- Preparing orders for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
- Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck)
- Experience handling palletised goods
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance record
- Good understanding of health and safety practices within a warehouse setting
