About the Role
We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Support Workers to provide person-centred care and support to a young adult with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy who is PEG fed.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting independence, promoting wellbeing, and ensuring the individual's health and safety in their own home and community.
Main Duties
- Provide personal care and daily living support.
- Support with PEG feeding following training and care plans.
- Monitor and respond appropriately to epilepsy-related needs.
- Assist with mobility and positioning requirements.
- Support with social activities, hobbies, and community access.
- Complete daily records and report any concerns.
- Promote dignity, choice, independence, and person-centred care.
- Work collaboratively with family members and healthcare professionals.
What We're Looking For
- Caring, patient, and understanding nature.
- Good communication and observation skills.
- Ability to work both day and night shifts.
- Reliable and committed to delivering high-quality care.
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, PEG feeding, Cerebral Palsy, or Epilepsy is advantageous.

Essential Requirements
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Ability to work a mixture of day and night shifts, including weekends where required.
