Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Electrician to oversee electrical installation, maintenance, and repair projects across diverse settings. As a pivotal team leader, you will coordinate electrical work, ensure compliance with safety standards, and mentor junior electricians. Your expertise will drive the successful completion of projects while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards. Duties
- Lead and supervise electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair activities on-site or in the workshop.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Inspect electrical systems and components to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Mentor and train junior electricians, sharing best practices and technical knowledge.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections.
- Oversee the proper use of hand tools, power tools, and other equipment required for electrical tasks.
Skills
- Extensive experience with electrical systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of electricians.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments while maintaining attention to detail.
