Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team at our Outstanding Castleford House Nursing Home in chepstow. Based in our welcoming care home, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents' well-being.
Hours/Pay
- 36 Hours per week
- £13.00-£13.50 dependant on qualifications
- Day Shifts
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive personal care to residents, respecting their dignity and privacy.
- Monitor residents' health and well-being, responding promptly to their needs.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents.
- Support residents with mobility, hygiene, and comfort needs.
- Collaborate with the wider care team to ensure seamless support.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to create a safe environment.
- Engage residents in activities or conversations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience or interest in working within a care home or home care setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently or in a team while maintaining high standards of care.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others.
- Knowledge of care plans and basic IT skills are beneficial.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
