Job Overview
We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will help deliver high-quality, person-centred care to our residents while providing leadership and support to the care team. You will play a key role in ensuring residents receive safe, respectful, and dignified care in a warm and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and support a team of Care Assistants, providing guidance and encouragement.
- Administer medication safely in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor, record, and report residents' health, wellbeing, and any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Support residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while promoting dignity and independence.
- Assist residents with mobility and moving and handling, following safe manual handling procedures.
- Provide emotional support, companionship, and meaningful engagement to enhance residents' quality of life.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records using electronic or paper-based systems.
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
- Promote a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
- Ensure all care is delivered in line with safeguarding procedures, health and safety regulations, and CQC standards.
Pay: £13.18 per hour

Experience:
- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)
- providing care: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
