Junior Marketing Assistant

Cable Connections Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Junior Marketing Assistant to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their marketing career who wants to gain hands-on experience and help develop the marketing presence of an established business operating within the electrical and utilities industry.
The Role
Working closely with the management team, you will help promote Cable Connections, our services, training courses and projects across a range of digital platforms.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating engaging content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms
- Taking photos and videos of our teams, projects and training courses
- Creating and editing short-form video content
- Helping manage and update the company website
- Producing marketing materials, company brochures and presentations
- Promoting our electrical, civil engineering, cable jointing and training services
- Supporting email marketing campaigns
- Helping increase the company's online presence and engagement
- Assisting with recruitment and training-course advertising
- Monitoring social media performance and suggesting new content ideas
- Working with different departments to identify projects and achievements worth promoting
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Creative and confident with social media
- A good written and verbal communicator
- Comfortable taking photos and creating videos
- Familiar with platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
- Interested in learning about digital marketing
- Organised and able to manage several tasks at once
- Comfortable working independently and bringing forward new ideas
- Keen to develop their skills and build a career in marketing
Experience with Canva, Adobe, video editing software, WordPress or similar platforms would be beneficial, but training can be provided.
You do not need previous experience within the electrical or construction industry. We are more interested in finding someone enthusiastic, creative and willing to learn.
