Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning to ensure vibrant and healthy outdoor spaces
- Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and blowers efficiently and safely
- Support the use of power tools and machinery like excavators and irrigation systems for installation and upkeep projects
- Maintain grounds by performing weed control, soil preparation, fertilization, and debris removal
- Help with construction activities.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Support team members in project setup, cleanup, and ongoing maintenance to uphold high standards of groundskeeping
Requirements
- Previous experience or interest in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Must speak English
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and basic machinery such as excavators is advantageous
- Ability to perform highly physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions; must be comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and digging
- Strong attention to safety protocols when operating equipment or handling tools
- Basic understanding of groundskeeping is a plus
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new techniques and responsibilities
- Valid driver’s license is a must.
