Transport Manager
We’re looking for a Transport Manager to join our team full time. This is a permanent, role Monday to Friday.
You'll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly, supporting colleagues and customers, and helping us achieve great results. No two days are the same, which means you'll need to be adaptable, proactive, and able to think on your feet.
· Transport Manager CPC required.
· Hands on role in daily operations.
· Manage and support drivers.
· Safe, compliant, and efficient transport operation.
· Operator Licence compliance.
Key Responsibilities
· Responsible for Operator Licence compliance and transport legislation
· Support driver performance, attendance, training, and development.
· Help maintain drivers’ hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph compliance.
· Manage vehicle maintenance planning and fleet compliance.
· Coordinate daily transport activity and resources.
· Communicate with other departments to maintain service levels and customer satisfaction
· Investigate accidents, incidents, and compliance concerns.
· Help recruit, induct, and retain drivers and transport colleagues.
· Microsoft Office experience
What We're Looking For
· Transport Manager CPC
· Good knowledge of DVSA requirements and Operator Licence obligations.
· Experience managing a busy transport operation & looking after HGV fleets.
· Have excellent communication skills and know how to build rapport.
· Able to build good relationships with drivers, customers, and colleagues.
· Great organisational, and problem-solving skills.
· Commercially aware and focused on efficient operations.
· Bring ideas, enthusiasm, and a willingness to get stuck in.

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
