About the Role
Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for a fresh challenge, or a skilled Deputy Manager ready to step up?
We are seeking a dedicated Children’s Home Manager to lead our established home in Liverpool. You will manage a safe, supportive environment for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD), working to maintain our current 'Good' Ofsted rating.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.
- Support: Promote the well-being, development, and safety of young people with EBD and challenging behaviours.
- Compliance: Partner with the Responsible Individual (RI) to meet all Ofsted regulations and company policies.
- Safeguarding: Act as the lead for safeguarding, managing concerns effectively to protect residents and staff.
- Team Development: Recruit, supervise, and mentor a high-performing care team.
- Operations: Efficiently manage the home’s budget, resources, and training records.
What We Need From You
- Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent) AND a Level 3 in Children and Young People.
- Experience: Proven track record as a Deputy or Registered Manager within children’s residential services.
- Skills: Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and EBD support.
- Requirements: A valid UK driving licence is essential.
