Our male client is 2:1 - relying on care for every aspect of his day to day living.
We are looking for staff to join our friendly established team.
Vacancies are due to increase in hours.
DAY SHIFTS
Mon/Tue/ Wed - 06:30 - 09:30
Mon/Tue/ Wed Shift A - 16:00 - 21:30
Shift B - 16:30 - 22:15
Thursday 09:30 - 12:30 - 16:30 - 22:15
Friday / Saturday/Sunday 11:00 - 22:15
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, respecting their dignity and privacy.
- Support clients with mobility and daily activities, promoting independence where possible.
- Implement and follow individualised care plans to meet each client’s specific needs.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, adhering to organisational policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the wider care team to ensure consistent and compassionate support.
- Use IT systems to update records and manage care schedules efficiently.
- Drive between different locations when required, ensuring timely support for all clients.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Valid driving licence is REQUIRED for roles involving travel between locations.
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to use IT systems confidently for documentation and communication purposes.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues.
