At L123 Ltd, we are one of the UK's leading specialist electrical compliance contractors working across universities, police forces, housing providers, healthcare organisations, retailers, hospitality businesses and public sector estates throughout the UK.
We're looking for PAT Testing Engineers to join our growing team.

Many of our Senior Engineers started with us as PAT Engineers before progressing into Fixed Wiring Inspection, Qualified Supervisor and management roles.
What you'll be doing
You will be based from home, with work allocated by our Operations Team.
You will visit customer sites carrying out Portable Appliance Inspection and Testing (PAT) (and associated testing - Fixed Appliances, Microwaves, Fan Cleaning etc.,) on a wide variety of electrical equipment.
Using our in hours bespoke handheld software, you'll:
- Inspect and test portable electrical equipment
- Record test results electronically
- Identify damaged or unsafe equipment
- Explain findings clearly to customers
- Produce professional records and certification electronically
- Represent L123 professionally on site
You'll normally work independently, although larger sites may involve working alongside colleagues in the PAT engineering team.
No two weeks are the same. One week you could be working in a university, the next in a police headquarters, hospital or hotel.
The position requires travel on a daily basis and overnight stays for sites further afield. Travel, overnights and expenses will be paid.

- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good communication skills
- Professional attitude
- Happy travelling throughout the UK
Desirable:
- Previous PAT Testing experience
- Customer-facing experience

Pay: £26,500.00-£36,000.00 per year
