Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Mechanic / Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicles, including engines, brakes, and electrical components.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment to carry out assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks efficiently.
- Carry out equipment repairs and perform routine maintenance to ensure vehicles remain in optimal condition.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large or heavy vehicle parts.
Requirements
- Proven experience with vehicle maintenance, repairs, or related mechanical work.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and automotive assembly processes.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and other specialised maintenance tools.
- Good understanding of equipment repair procedures and routine maintenance practices.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in various positions for extended periods.
- Able to work under their own initiative.
- Able to use diagnostics
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive mechanics are desirable but not essential
- Must have experience.
Pay: £30,000.00-£41,000.00 per year
