Kinder City Nursery is a well-established and thriving early years setting, currently expanding to meet growing demand. We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Deputy Manager to support the operational leadership of the nursery. This postion is not term time and the sucessful applicant would be expected to work an additonal 4 weeks throughout the year.
All applicants must hold a minimum of a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above) and have experience working as a Deputy Manager or Room Leader within a busy setting.
The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing daily activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education, and fostering a positive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Management team in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work alongside the other Deputies to ensure the setting is running to its highest performance.
- Assist with staff management, and providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Promote a positive team culture by motivating staff and encouraging continuous professional development.
- Respond to parent/carer enquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding standards.
- Assist in preparing reports and analysing data to support informed decision-making.
Experience and Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within an early years or educational setting.
- Strong Leadership skills, with the ability to lead by example and inspire others.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional approach to working with staff and families.
- Experience in staff development or mentoring (desirable).
- A proactive, adaptable approach with strong problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
