Salary: £27,000 - £32,000

The Role
As an IT Support Technician, you'll provide 1st and 2nd Line support across the business, ensuring systems remain secure, reliable and operating efficiently.
Working closely with colleagues across multiple departments, you'll resolve day-to-day technical issues while supporting infrastructure improvements, IT projects and ongoing system development. This is a varied, hands-on role offering excellent opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd Line IT support, troubleshooting hardware, software, networking and Microsoft 365 issues across the business.
- Support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and user account administration within Microsoft environments.
- Assist with the maintenance, monitoring and improvement of IT infrastructure, including Windows Servers, cloud services, backups and business applications.
- Help deliver IT projects, including hardware and software deployments, system upgrades, migrations and new technology rollouts.
- Support system integrations and work with third-party applications where required.
- Follow IT security best practices, assist with security updates and help maintain data security and compliance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, requests and technical solutions while escalating complex issues where appropriate.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Commercial experience providing IT support.
- Experience delivering 1st and 2nd Line support.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPNs.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
