Easton Group is an established family business with 50 years’ experience in the property industry.
Based in Dundonald, the business has a robust portfolio of residential and commercial properties, and we are currently looking for a General Labourer to join our expanding team.
This role would suit a reliable and hardworking Labourer with excellent communication skills, who enjoys working independently and as part of a small team.
The ideal candidate will have general trades knowledge and will be required to conduct various property maintenance tasks, including assisting skilled contractors. A high level of customer service and communication is essential, you will be required to take instructions from our Property Maintenance Manager and be able to interact with tenants in a friendly and professional manner. Prior experience in a similar role would be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to company policy and procedures.
- Follow the Health and Safety guidelines, as exhibited on COSHH.
- To carry out a variety of general labour tasks, as required, and indicated by the Maintenance Manager.
- To arrange and follow a property maintenance schedule, managing time effectively, and ensuring that every task is completed to the highest standard.
- To maintain a professional manner whilst conducting tasks and interacting with tenants.
- Always take precautionary Health and Safety measures while carrying out maintenance work.
- Loading and unloading materials and tools
- Preparing work areas and keeping sites clean and organised
- To ensure the correct and economical use of materials/ equipment, keeping wastage to a minimum.
- The ability to adapt and learn quickly will be important within this role.
- Previous experience in construction, joinery or a similar trade is beneficial but not essential
Key Requirements:
- A Full clean UK drivers’ license is essential.
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial.
