Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front of house operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Lead and manage the front of house team, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
- Train new staff members on service standards, menu offerings, and hospitality best practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the development of menus and special events to enhance guest experiences.
- Monitor inventory levels for bar and dining supplies, placing orders as necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hotel or restaurant industry is essential.
- Strong background in bartending or food preparation is highly desirable.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Proven leadership abilities with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
- Knowledge of culinary practices is an advantage.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
