With an enviable reputation in construction, we now have a growing and expanding portfolio in bathroom pod manufacturing. We have an excellent opportunity for senior production supervisor to join our expanding bathroom manufacturing business. Applicants should be suitably qualified & experienced to produce work of the highest quality, whilst working to strict deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of materials and supplies.
- Promote good working practices and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures by colleagues and contractors (taking appropriate action where necessary)..
- Organise workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
- Oversee and coach employees.
- Conducting toolbox talks as and when required.
- Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
- Check production output according to specifications.
- Submit reports on performance and progress.
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
- Arrange training for new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.
- Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role
- Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
- Good knowledge of health and safety standards and workplace compliance.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and email.
- Experience in HR procedures and performance management
Hours of work: 40 per week
Working hours: Mon-Thu 7:30am-17:00pm Fri-7:30am-11:30am with flexibility.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £40,000.00 per year
