Leicester City Football Club is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our catering team at our world-class Training Ground in Seagrave.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, nutritionally focused meals that help fuel the performance of our elite athletes. What You'll Be Doing
As a Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for helping to keep our kitchen operating efficiently and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your duties will include:
- Washing, sanitising and storing service ware and kitchen equipment.
- Maintaining exceptional hygiene standards throughout food preparation and service areas.
- Cleaning work surfaces, walls, floors, ovens and kitchen equipment.
- Emptying and cleaning waste bins while managing recycling and rubbish disposal.
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling and preparing ingredients.
- Receiving, unloading and storing deliveries correctly and safely.
- Organising and maintaining storage areas, refrigerators and freezers.
- Adhering to all health, safety and food hygiene procedures.
- Supporting colleagues across the kitchen team to create a positive and productive working environment.
- Upholding and promoting Club policies, procedures and values.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Experience working in a professional kitchen environment, ideally in a similar role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- A positive, solution-focused attitude with a strong work ethic.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining exceptional standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and Public Holidays when required.
- Own transport due to the remote location of the Training Ground.
Desirable
- Level 2 Food Safety Qualification (or above).

Successful candidates will be required to:
