About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. This is an excellent opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician (Integrated) Apprenticeship while developing the skills needed to become a registered pharmacy technician.
Working alongside pharmacists and experienced pharmacy staff, you will help provide safe, accurate and effective pharmacy services to patients while completing your apprenticeship training.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and dispensing of medicines under supervision.
- Receive, check and process prescriptions.
- Order, receive and manage pharmaceutical stock.
- Label, assemble and supply medicines accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Answer telephone and face-to-face enquiries appropriately.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure patient confidentiality.
- Follow pharmacy procedures, health and safety requirements, and legal regulations.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Attend off-the-job training and complete coursework towards the Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship.
Essential Requirements
- GCSE Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to completing the apprenticeship.
Desirable
- Previous experience in customer service or healthcare.
- Basic IT skills.
- Interest in medicines and patient care.

Pay: £10.00-£14.00 per hour
