Where Heritage Meets High-End Hospitality.
Are you a visionary leader ready to breathe life into one of Hampshire’s most prestigious estates? We are seeking an exceptional Hotel Manager to spearhead the opening and operation of a brand-new, 40-bedroom four-star hotel set within the historic walls of Amport House.
This isn’t just a job; it’s a chance to curate an experience across 46,000 sq. ft. of Grade II listed architecture and 20 acres of world-class, Edwin Lutyens-designed gardens.
The Opportunity
Amport House is undergoing a transformation into a premier destination. As the Hotel Manager, you will be the heartbeat of this transition, moving from pre-opening strategy to delivering a seamless, high-touch guest experience.
Key Highlights of the Role:
Estate Leadership: Oversee the management of a 40-bedroom boutique hotel, luxury dining spaces, and unique events.
Garden & Grounds: Leverage our 20-acre private estate to create outdoor experiences that set us apart from the competition.
Team Building: Recruit, train, and inspire a brand-new team committed to four-star excellence.
Operational Excellence: Manage the P&L, maintain rigorous standards, and ensure every inch of our 46,000 sq. ft. facility is pristine.
Who You Are
You are a seasoned hospitality professional with a "can-do" attitude and a passion for historic properties. You understand that luxury is found in the details—from the crispness of the linens to the heritage of the hedgerows.
Experienced: Proven track record in a 4 or 5-star hotel management role (pre-opening experience is a major plus).
Commercial: Adept at driving revenue while maintaining a firm grip on operational costs.
Guest-Centric: A natural host who thrives on being "front of house" and building lasting relationships.
Adaptable: Comfortable managing the complexities of a listed building and sprawling grounds.
Why Join Us?
A Unique Canvas: The chance to put your stamp on a significant piece of English heritage.
Autonomy: We value expertise and give you the room to lead.
Growth: Be part of a flagship project with long-term career potential.
Environment: Work every day in a setting defined by 20 acres of unparalleled natural beauty.
