We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored appropriately
- Follow hotel policies regarding health and safety standards, including COVID-19 protocols
- Assist with laundry duties as required
- Provide friendly and professional service to guests, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties throughout shifts
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed
- A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning practices
