A prestigious 5-star luxury hotel and resort in the Midlands is looking for a talented Banqueting Sous Chef to join its culinary team.
This is a great opportunity for a Sous Chef with strong banqueting experience to work within a luxury environment, delivering weddings, conferences, private events and large-scale functions to a high standard.
You’ll work closely with the Executive Chef and senior culinary team, helping to lead the banqueting operation and develop a talented kitchen brigade.
- Support the senior culinary team across all banqueting operations

Lead and motivate the kitchen brigade during busy services

Deliver consistently high-quality food across weddings, events and functions

Assist with menu development and event planning

Maintain excellent food quality, presentation and portion control

Manage ordering, stock control and minimise food waste

Train and develop junior members of the kitchen team

Maintain the highest food safety and hygiene standards

Take responsibility for the kitchen in the absence of senior chefs
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef

Experience within a luxury hotel, resort or high-end banqueting operation

Strong experience managing high-volume services

A genuine passion for quality food and presentation

Confident leading and developing a kitchen team
