Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our hotel, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients and visitors. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or hotel services is highly desirable. Duties
MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS and have a clear DBS
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to high standards
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning materials as needed
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including deep cleans or specialised sanitation procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning duties effectively throughout the shift
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within allocated timeframes
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
