Job Overview
We are looking for an energetic, friendly, and customer-focused Bartender to join the team at Zingara. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, preparing drinks to a high standard, maintaining a clean and organised bar area, and helping create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and standards
- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service at all times
- Take customer orders accurately and make recommendations where appropriate
- Maintain strong product knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, spirits, and menu items
- Ensure the bar area remains clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout service
- Carry out opening and closing procedures for the bar
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory checks
- Ensure cash handling and card transactions are processed accurately
- Follow all licensing, health and safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service procedures
- Work closely with floor staff and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service
- Support in maintaining a lively and positive atmosphere within the venue
- Assist with setting up for events, promotions, and busy service periods where required
Requirements
- Previous experience as a bartender required
- Cocktail knowledge and drink preparation experience advantageous
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Well-presented with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail during busy periods

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.80-£13.50 per hour

- customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Bartenders: 2 years (required)
