We are passionate about providing fresh, high-quality Asian dishes with excellent customer service. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Line-Chef to join our kitchen team.
About the Role
As a Line-Chef at MyWok, you will play a key role in preparing and cooking a variety of Asian-inspired dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen efficiency. The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a busy Asian food kitchen and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare and cook Asian cuisine to company standards.
· Ensure food is prepared, presented, and served consistently.
· Maintain high levels of cleanliness and food hygiene at all times.
· Manage stock rotation and minimise food waste.
· Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
· Work effectively under pressure during busy service periods.
· Follow all health and safety regulations and kitchen procedures.
· Support other team members and contribute to a positive working environment.
Requirements
· Previous experience working in an Asian food kitchen is essential.
· Strong knowledge of Asian cooking techniques, ingredients, and food preparation.
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced takeaway and delivery-focused kitchen.
· Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
· Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
· Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude.
· Comfortable working alone during off-peak periods
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
