We are seeking a level 3 nursery practitioner for our small and friendly nursery in Tring. We are willing to be flexible for the right candidate and are open to both full and part time candidates possessing a passion for childcare and education. We are open Monday-Thursday 8am-6pm and Fridays 9am-3pm. Full time staff work 4 days a week with a set day off per week. This is a great opportunity for a self motivated, enthusiastic individual committed to creating a stimulating and nurturing environment for the children in their care. The workplace is supportive with opportunities for staff to explore their own areas of interest within childcare and education. The roles and responsibilities are as follows:
Keep up to date records of children's development
To ensure children are kept safe and follow protocol to make sure welfare requirements are met
To undertake care routines such as nappy changing, supporting personal hygiene routines and meal times
Liaise with parents and work in partnership with them to support the best outcomes for children
Plan activities appropriate to children's age and stage of development linked to relevant interests and skills
Supervise children in their play and learning
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
