Self-Employed Owner Driver
Vertex Logistics Ltd is looking for reliable Self-Employed Owner Drivers to join our growing team. If you own a van, enjoy working independently, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Deliver parcels safely and on time.
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
- Complete basic vehicle safety checks before each shift.
- Load and unload parcels safely.
- Maintain accurate delivery records.
- Communicate professionally with customers and the operations team.
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence and your own suitable van.
- High-roof vans are preferred.
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Physically fit to load and unload parcels.
- Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused.
- Clean driving record preferred.
- Must have all required business vehicle insurance, including Hire & Reward insurance, and any other relevant cover required to carry out courier work.
Working Hours
- Start time: 7:15 AM.
- Typical route duration is approximately 6 hours, although this may vary depending on route volume and operational requirements.
Pay
- Expected earnings of £800–£1,000 per week, depending on route allocation and completed deliveries.
- Paid weekly. The first payment is made at the end of your third working week, after which payments are made every week.
