Jark Recruitment are working in partnership with a well-established waste recycling company to recruit a reliable and hardworking Recycling Operative. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team in a vital, hands-on role with the potential to move into a permanent position. Candidates must be willing to train and operate a variety of recycling machinery, including balers and other processing equipment.
You must be comfortable working in a recycling/waste environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sorting and processing recyclable materials
- Being willing to train and operate a variety of recycling machinery, including balers and other processing equipment
- Assisting with general recycling operations across the site
- Following site procedures and supporting the wider team as required
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be physically fit and comfortable with manual, hands-on work
- Be able to carry out repetitive heavy lifting
- Have a positive attitude and be willing to learn new skills
- Be keen to receive training on different machinery, including balers
- Be a reliable team player with a strong work ethic
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Working Hours:
AM Shift : 6am-2.30pm –Monday to Friday
Twilight shift : 2:30pm – 11:00pm-Monday to Thursday and 2.30pm -10pm on Friday
