Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Hygiene Manager to oversee and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing hygiene protocols, supervising cleaning staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Duties
- Develop, implement, and monitor hygiene policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff, providing training on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify areas requiring attention and ensure cleanliness is maintained to the highest standard.
- Manage the procurement and utilisation of hand tools, power tools, and other cleaning equipment necessary for effective hygiene management.
- Oversee the safe use of construction-related tools where applicable during maintenance or renovation projects related to hygiene improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule cleaning activities that minimise disruption to operations.
- Maintain detailed records of hygiene inspections, staff training sessions, and equipment maintenance schedules.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to during daily operations, including the proper handling of tools and chemicals.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within hygiene management or facilities maintenance.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction-related equipment used in facility upkeep or renovation projects.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation relevant to hygiene standards in commercial or industrial environments.
- Previous experience in managing teams, organising schedules, and conducting staff training sessions.

Pay: £34,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
