Assembly Operative | Ripley | £12.71 per hour | Temp to Perm | Mon - Fri | Overtime Available
Sky Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run business based in Ripley, Derbyshire.
We are looking for reliable Assembly Operatives to join a friendly and busy production environment, assembling cardboard displays, packing products and carrying out quality checks.
Please note: Due to the location and shift times, particularly the 6am start, please ensure you have reliable transport before applying. Public transport from Derby is limited at this time.
Available Shifts
- Days: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:15pm
- Afternoons: Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm – 10:15pm
- Nights: 6:00pm – 6:00am
- Overtime: Regular overtime opportunities available
The Role
As an Assembly Operative, your duties will include:
- Assembling cardboard displays and packaging
- Picking and packing products
- Quality checking finished items
- Preparing products ready for dispatch
- Keeping track of products and stock
- General warehouse and production duties
- Working as part of a team to meet daily targets
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
What We're Looking For
Previous assembly, production, packaging or warehouse experience would be beneficial, but full training will be provided.
You'll need to be:
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work accurately with good attention to detail
- Hardworking and willing to learn
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
