In the Facilities Department every day is different, so being flexible is important. We’re looking for someone with strong cleaning experience that has an eye for detail. Someone who has a good work ethic, comes to work on time, and can meet set targets and deadlines. Being a self-motivated team member is important to us, along with having a ‘can-do’ attitude, and a willingness to support other team members and departments.
Based in the Students’ Union building on Park Place, Cardiff, the successful candidate will provide effective support to our busy department which operates to 24/7. Working 4 hours a day, 4am to 8am, 6 out of 7 days to cover all aspects of cleaning including – sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, washing, wiping, buffing, window/glass cleaning, and toilet / shower facilities. Outside cleaning will also be required.
