Our services are diverse, and that's what makes this role so rewarding. You could be supporting people in our Self-Directed Support (SDS) services, helping individuals with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and mental health support needs to live independently in their own homes and communities.
You may also work within our Transitional Services, supporting people who have experienced homelessness to rebuild confidence, develop independent living skills and move towards a more secure future. We also provide support to people experiencing addiction and recovery challenges, as well as those living with complex mental health needs.
No matter the service, our focus is always the same: supporting people to live the life they choose.
This role is about far more than assisting with daily tasks. It's about building trusted relationships, encouraging independence, celebrating achievements and helping people overcome barriers. Some days you might be supporting someone to attend an appointment, move into their first tenancy, reconnect with their community, build confidence after a difficult period in their life, or take positive steps in their recovery journey. Other days, the most important thing you can offer is a listening ear, reassurance and understanding.
We're looking for people who are kind, patient and respectful. People who believe in dignity, choice and inclusion, and who can see the person beyond their circumstances. Experience in care is welcome, but it isn't essential. What matters most is your attitude, values and commitment to supporting others.
