Sales Assistant – Taylor’s Family Butchers (Ashby)
Location: Ashby, ScunthorpeJob Type: Part-time (3 shifts per week)Hours: 6:00am – 5:00pm
Taylor’s Family Butchers is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our busy Ashby shop.
This is a customer-facing role within a fast-paced family butchers, where no two days are the same. You’ll be helping customers, preparing displays, replenishing stock and ensuring the shop is clean, well presented and fully stocked throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Serving customers and processing transactions through the till.
- Replenishing stock and maintaining attractive product displays.
- Assisting with order picking and Click & Collect orders.
- Keeping the shop clean, tidy and following food hygiene procedures.
- Working as part of a team in a busy retail environment.
About You
- Previous retail or customer service experience is essential.
- Knowledge of meat products is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided.
- Friendly, approachable and confident speaking with customers.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work from 6:00am starts.
- Able to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Smart appearance with a positive attitude.
- A team player who takes pride in their work.
