Telios Tutors is seeking an experienced and compassionate tutor to support Primary school students with Maths and English through a personalised home education programme.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a tutor who enjoys building strong relationships with students and creating engaging, confidence-building lessons. The role involves working closely with one family to provide consistent, long-term support in a one-to-one setting.
The student would benefit from a calm, patient and encouraging tutor who can adapt lessons to suit his individual learning style and help foster a positive relationship with education.
Schedule
- Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
- Approximately 9:30am onwards
- 2 hours per day (1 hour Maths and 1 hour English)
- 6 hours per week
- Long-term position
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred, or significant primary tutoring experience.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2 Maths and English.
- Experience supporting students with additional learning needs, including dyspraxia and/or dyslexia.
- Patient, nurturing and able to build trust with students.
- Confident planning engaging, personalised one-to-one lessons.
- Reliable, professional and an excellent communicator.
