Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Self employed Cleaning Professional to join our Itzhome team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various premises primarily domestic homes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in janitorial services, cleaning, or commercial cleaning to utilise their skills in a professional setting.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces. Own materials and equipment to be provided, if needed.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to high standards
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and fixtures using appropriate equipment and cleaning agents.
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Handle specialised cleaning tasks when required, including oven, carpet or upholstery cleaning.
- Follow health and safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial work, housekeeping, or general cleaning.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a friendly attitude towards clients.
- Nice-to-have skills or customer service experience which can enhance service delivery in hospitality settings.
- Flexibility to work various hours including weekends if required.
