Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated School Lunchtime Supervisor to oversee students during their midday break. The role involves ensuring the safety, well-being, and behaviour of pupils while they enjoy their lunch and recreational activities. Duties
- Supervise pupils during lunchtime, ensuring they follow school rules and behave appropriately
- Assist children with opening lunchboxes and managing their meals if necessary
- Monitor children during outdoor play or indoor activities, promoting safe play and social interaction
- Address behavioural issues promptly and professionally, implementing positive behaviour strategies
- Support children with special needs or those requiring additional assistance
- Maintain a clean and organised dining area, ensuring it remains safe and welcoming
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other supervisors to ensure smooth lunchtime operations
- Report any concerns regarding pupil safety or wellbeing to appropriate school personnel
Skills
- Proven experience in childcare
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
