18 Rec is recruiting experienced Multi Traders on behalf of a well-established social housing contractor operating across South London.
We're looking for skilled tradespeople with a core trade in either Plastering, Plumbing, or Carpentry, who are confident carrying out general multi-trade maintenance and repairs within occupied and void social housing properties.
The Role
You'll be working across domestic social housing properties, completing planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and refurbishment works including:
- Plastering repairs and patch work
- Basic plumbing repairs and bathroom maintenance
- Carpentry repairs, including doors, locks, skirting and kitchens
- General multi-trade maintenance
- Kitchen and bathroom refurbishments
- Damp and mould/disrepair works
- Window and door repairs
- Decorating and making good
- General property repairs
Requirements
- Previous experience working within social housing
- Strong background in Plastering, Plumbing or Carpentry
- Able to carry out general multi-trade works
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Valid CSCS Card
- Asbestos Awareness Certificate
- NVQ or City & Guilds (desirable but not essential)
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
