Vehicle Preparation Specialist – Camper Van Industry
Location: Expedition Campers, Eversley Garage, Alderminster, Stratford Upon Avon, CV37 8NYSalary: £29,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE)Hours: 8:15 - 17:30
About the RoleWe’re looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Preparation Specialist to join our growing team here at expedition campers. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for preparing vehicles to a high standard before and after conversion, ensuring our customers receive a clean, safe, and beautifully finished camper van.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-delivery preparation of camper vans, including interior and exterior cleaning, detailing, and quality checks
- Assist with basic fitting tasks such as alloy wheels, campervan accessories, vinyl decals, etc
- Inspect vehicles for defects and ensure all work meets company quality standards
- Move vehicles around the workshop and site to assist with the smooth flow of the day
- Maintain a clean, organised working environment
- Support the wider team with general workshop duties as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in vehicle preparation, detailing, valeting, or a workshop environment (Preferred)
- Camper van or automotive experience (Preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and a pride in delivering high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Full UK driving licence
