Multi Trade Operative, Disabled Adaptations
Up to £43,441 per annum
37 hours per week - Permanent

We're looking for a skilled Multi Trade Operative to join our Disabled Adaptations team, helping vulnerable and disabled residents live safely, independently and comfortably in their own homes. This is more than a job, every adaptation you complete, from installing a level-access shower to fitting mobility aids, can have a life-changing impact on the people who use them.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll deliver a wide range of disabled adaptation works, including: -
- Bathroom conversions and wet room installations
- Plumbing repairs and installations
- Wall tiling, wet-wall panel fitting and plastering
- Carpentry works including ramps, platforms, handrails and door modifications
- Installation of grab rails and other accessibility equipment
- Providing excellent customer service while working in occupied homes and around vulnerable residents
What We're Looking For
We're interested in hearing from people with experience in one or more trades, particularly plumbing, carpentry or bathroom adaptations. You may have formal qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds, or you may have gained your skills through substantial hands-on experience. What's most important is your ability to deliver high-quality work safely and professionally.
You'll also bring: -

- A commitment to excellent customer care
- Respect, empathy and professionalism when working in customers' homes
- A full UK driving licence (maximum 5 penalty points
