All work is generally around the Southend catchment, with starting times at property 8am and generally finishing for 4pm, often earlier. I am only looking for persons based in or around this area, who can get themselves to the property, should they live local they will get picked up and dropped most days (Shoeburyness/TB).
My business has been running for 20+ years and the best labourers who learned and stay for years are typically school/college leavers, so would ideally be seeking similar.
You do NOT need tools or CSCS as no work is on sites, neither do you require steel caps, helmets etc. Gloves/googles and similar provided for you.
The work is typically 90% internal in houses and will cover all aspects of the home, electrics/plumbing/plastering/kitchen/bathrooms and more.
Your role will initially be helping with tools and materials learning the names and uses, whilst also learning customer service/satisfaction and attention to detail. As you start to show progress in the learning, lesser jobs will be allocated and monitored, helping you progress in various skills, learning and applying in these fields.
You will be required to climb ladders, enter small spaces, lift 25kgs from time to time and therefore should be physically fit and able, not scared of heights. Punctuality, politeness, attention to detail are key skills, if applying.
I am looking for a reliable person working Mon-Fri only 8-4pm, polite, punctual and hard working. Strictly no smoking during working hours and no phone use during the day, for health and safety and customer satisfaction. You must bring lunch/drink to work. Successful applicants will be required to attend an interview with possible starting in a few weeks.
