We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-School Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages children’s curiosity and independence
- Plan and deliver engaging age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being within the nursery environment
- Support children's social development by encouraging positive interactions and sharing
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and daily activities
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's development and daily experiences
- Lead small groups of children during activities, ensuring inclusive participation and individual attention
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childcare best practices
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and team members
- Demonstrated management and leadership abilities to guide both children and fellow staff members
- Ability to work flexibly, including driving to different nursery locations if required
- Relevant childcare qualifications or certifications preferred (e.g., Level 3 Childcare Qualification)
- A caring attitude combined with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children
