We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Channel Technical Specialist to accelerate growth across the UK & Ireland partner ecosystem. This senior technical sales role is responsible for driving Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) revenue through distributors, resellers, MSPs and CSPs by developing partner capability, creating pipeline, and winning complex infrastructure opportunities.
The role focuses on expanding Lenovo's channel footprint and deepening partner engagement across datacentre, hybrid cloud, AI infrastructure, networking, storage, servers and services. You will help partners position Lenovo's Pocket-to-Edge-to-Cloud portfolio as outcome-led solutions that deliver measurable customer value.
Success in this position requires a combination of strong channel experience, technical expertise, commercial acumen, and the ability to orchestrate internal and external stakeholders to generate pipeline and accelerate deal execution.
What are the key responsibilities of this role?
- Drive partner-led pipeline creation and revenue growth across servers, storage, networking, hybrid cloud, AI infrastructure and services.
- Act as the trusted technical advisor to strategic channel partners, owning and developing senior pre-sales relationships.
- Enable partners to position Lenovo's end-to-end portfolio as integrated, business outcome-focused solutions.
- Identify, qualify and accelerate complex opportunities through effective technical engagement and solution design.
- Increase partner capability through technical enablement, workshops, planning sessions and ongoing coaching.
- Support opportunity progression and improve speed of execution across the partner ecosystem.
- Collaborate with Lenovo sales, technical, services and marketing teams to maximise partner-led growth.
- Maintain strong forecasting discipline, pipeline governance and operational rigour to ensure predictable business outcomes.
- Champion Lenovo's AI strategy and infrastructure vision, helping partners build and deliver next-generation AI solutions.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in technical sales, solution architecture, or pre-sales within the UK technology market.
- Strong track record of driving growth through distributors, VARs, MSPs, CSPs or other channel partners.
- Deep understanding of datacentre technologies including servers, storage, networking, hybrid cloud, AI infrastructure and associated services.
- Experience architecting and positioning complex infrastructure solutions to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of partner business models, including managed services, cloud consumption and as-a-service offerings.
