We are recruiting for a full-time Administrator to join our friendly team at SWRAC in Wimborne.
Job Description
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate and arrange Annual Review meetings, liaising with parents/carers, Local Authorities, external professionals and internal staff.
- Prepare, maintain and distribute accurate Annual Review and EHCP documentation, ensuring all information is current and completed within required timescales.
- Attend Annual Review meetings, accurately recording discussions, outcomes and agreed actions, and completing all required documentation.
- Submit completed Annual Review documentation to Local Authorities and relevant professionals within required timescales.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date spreadsheets and systems to track Annual Reviews, deadlines, submissions and outstanding actions.
- Accurately input, maintain and update learner information on the Management Information System and other relevant systems.
- Communicate professionally by telephone, email and in person with learners, parents/carers, Local Authorities, external professionals and partner organisations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential learner records in accordance with data protection and organisational requirements.
- Provide general administrative support to HR, Accounts, centres and other internal teams, including document preparation, record keeping and general office duties.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments and centres, providing administrative support as required.
- Undertake any other reasonable administrative duties appropriate to the role as directed by the management team.
Location & Travel
The role will be based at Merley House, Wimborne, and will require regular travel between our Winton, Dorchester and Boscombe centres to support Annual Reviews and administrative requirements, so a full driving licence and own transport is required.

- Level 2 Maths and English (or equivalent)
Skills / Competencies
- ·Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when data inputting.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and to deal with new challenges positively.
- Able to work independently but also well as part of a friendly team.
- Strong typing skills to ensure accurate minutes are taken during meetings
Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative role or office environment is preferred but not essential.
- Experience in handling phone calls, emails, and other forms of correspondence.
- Knowledge of working or background in education is desirable.
