We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Performance Analyst to join our Assisted Travel operation at Birmingham Airport. This is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven professional who enjoys transforming complex information into meaningful insights that drive operational performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Working closely with the Performance & Planning Lead and operational stakeholders, you will play a key role in analysing performance data, developing dashboards, identifying trends, and supporting strategic decision-making across the contract.
What you will do:
- Analyse operational and performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Produce regular reports, dashboards, and management information to support business decisions.
- Develop and maintain Power BI or Tableau dashboards that provide clear performance insights.
- Combine and interpret data from multiple systems and sources to create meaningful analytics datasets.
- Monitor data quality and carry out validation, cleansing, and auditing activities.
- Liaise with operational teams and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and business challenges.
- Provide analytical support by answering data-related queries and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct surveys, analyse results, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with planning and operational teams to support service delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.

What we are looking for:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with proven experience in data analysis.
- Strong report-writing skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience of data modelling, data cleansing, and data enrichment techniques.
- Ability to perform data quality control, validation, and data linkage activities.
- Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau, including dashboard development and data visualisation.
- Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable business insights.
- Experience producing clear graphical representations, charts, and visual reports.
- Ability to develop solutions that address business performance challenges.
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant discipline, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
Desirable
- Experience within the aviation sector.
- Knowledge of Assisted Travel operations.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment.
