Join Our Team as a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner!
Are you a passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Years Practitioner looking for your next opportunity? At Playhouse Nursery, we're looking for a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team.
We are seeking someone who loves helping children learn, grow, and thrive in a nurturing environment. This role is available for up to 35 hours per week, although we are happy to consider part-time applications from candidates who can offer flexibility to help cover staff holidays and sickness when needed.
About Us
Playhouse Nursery provides high-quality childcare for up to 40 children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming, and stimulating environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore the world around them. We are open 51 weeks of the year, with operating hours of 7:45am to 6:00pm.
What You'll Be Doing
As a valued member of our team, you will:
- Create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where every child can flourish.
- Build meaningful relationships with children and their families through our key person approach.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS Framework, supporting each child's individual learning and development.
- Observe, assess, and celebrate children's progress.
- Work collaboratively with a friendly, supportive, and professional team to deliver outstanding childcare.
- Promote children's wellbeing while maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding and confidentiality.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
- Has previous experience working in an early years setting.
- Has a sound understanding of the EYFS and child development.
- Is enthusiastic, caring, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional childcare.
- Works well as part of a team while using their own initiative.
- Is flexible, adaptable, and keen to contribute to the continued success of our nursery.

Pay: £10.85-£13.00 per hour
