Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take drink orders with enthusiasm and efficiency
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcohol, soft drinks, and specialty cocktails, adhering to food safety standards
- Ensure all drinks are prepared accurately using proper serving techniques and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar counters
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety at all times
- Manage cash register transactions accurately using basic math skills for billing and change handling
- Support stock management by restocking supplies and checking inventory levels regularly
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to uphold food safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods, managing time effectively to meet guest needs
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we welcome eager learners!
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Familiarity with serving techniques and beverage preparation enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Strong time management skills are essential for balancing multiple guest requests efficiently
- Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills help create a positive atmosphere for guests and team members alike
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and contributing to a lively team environment is highly valued
