We are delighted to be recruiting for a Level 3 Qualified Childcare Practitioner to join a lovely, family-run nursery in South Gloucestershire, conveniently located close to Bristol.
This 65-place nursery provides high-quality care and education for children from babies through to preschool, across four age-specific rooms. With bright, spacious rooms, fantastic outdoor learning areas and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, it is a wonderful environment for both children and practitioners to thrive.
The nursery has also recently introduced a Montessori ethos, encouraging children's independence, curiosity, hands-on learning and natural development.
*The Role*
As a Level 3 Childcare Practitioner, you will play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow and develop.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years.
- Planning and delivering fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS.
- Supporting children's individual learning, development and wellbeing.
- Building strong, positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Creating an environment where children feel happy, confident and valued.
- Following safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies.
- Working as part of a friendly and supportive team.
*About You*
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Early Years professional who is passionate about making a difference to young children's lives.
You will:
- Hold a Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification or equivalent.
- Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Be passionate about children's learning and development.
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Be caring, positive, reliable and enthusiastic.
- Be committed to providing high-quality care and education.
