Compliance Advisor

Muntons is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Advisor to join our team at our Bridlington site. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in compliance, quality, safety, health and environmental management within a successful and growing manufacturing business.
About the Role
Reporting into the Compliance Manager and the QSHE Team, you will play a key role in supporting compliance activities across our Bridlington operation and our Tithe Top site. Working closely with operational teams, managers and colleagues across the business, you will help ensure that our standards, systems and certifications continue to meet both legislative and industry requirements.
This role is based at Bridlington, East Yorkshire, with travel to our Tithe Top site typically once per month. A minimum of four days on site per week is expected.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Management Systems
Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of documentation, records and reporting systems.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislative, regulatory and certification requirements.
Support the ongoing maintenance of ISO and food safety management systems
Audits & Inspections
Conduct regular internal audits, inspections and compliance reviews across the business.
Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure issues are effectively resolved and do not reoccur.
Support preparation for external audits and certification activities.
Certification & Standards
Other relevant industry certifications
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Have a recognised or working towards a Health and Safety Qualification.
Understanding of ISO standards within a food manufacturing or processing environment.
A collaborative team player who enjoys working with others.
Proactive and solution-focused.
Passionate about maintaining high standards and driving continuous improvement.
Dedicated to ensuring safe working practices for yourself and others.
