We are looking for a part time bank cleaner to work shifts throughout the week and occasional weekend work to cover other staff when on leave and assist other cleaners when deeper cleans in the home are required.
Hours are 9am - 4 pm but not set and can vary, this can be discussed upon interview.
Duties to include
- Perform daily and deep cleaning of residents' rooms, bathrooms, common areas (lounges, dining rooms), and hallways.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene, handle waste appropriately, and follow infection control procedures and the correct use of PPE
- Report any faulty equipment, damaged furniture, or potential hazards to the Home Manager and use wet floor signs when necessary
- Keep records of housekeeping stocks and order new supplies as needed to ensure cleaning materials are always available
- Respect residents' privacy and dignity while working in their rooms, handling personal belongings with care.
Skills required
- Previous Experience cleaning in a care environment
- A keen eye for cleanliness and tidiness is essential.
- The ability to manage tasks efficiently and maintain cleaning schedules.
- A commitment to maintaining residents' confidentiality and privacy.
A DBS will be required.
